Editorial Policy

How we research, update and correct Japan driving licence content.

Source priority

  1. National Police Agency and prefectural police.
  2. Japanese laws and official public bodies.
  3. Recognised translation and motoring organisations such as JAF.
  4. Universities and established specialist organisations for practical context.

Original writing

We use external pages for factual research and topic discovery. We write original summaries and do not copy competitors’ articles.

Dates and changes

Time-sensitive articles show a review date. Fees and processes are labelled as national rules, prefectural examples or market estimates.

Corrections

We correct material errors promptly. Send the page, issue and supporting source to support@japandrivinglicense.com.

Commercial independence

Advertising, affiliate links and sponsorships will be labelled. Commercial relationships do not change official facts, pass/fail standards or our right to publish drawbacks.
